Cabinet Painting in Medford and Surrounding Areas

Full kitchen cabinet replacement is one of the most expensive home improvement projects a homeowner can take on, often running between $20,000 and $50,000 or more by the time installation is complete.

All American Trade Work offers a multi-day, spray booth cabinet painting process that produces a factory-quality result using the same products specified by cabinet manufacturers.

Your existing cabinet boxes, doors, and drawers are retained, refinished, and returned in a finish that reads as new. The result is a kitchen transformation at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Your Kitchen, Transformed Without the Cost of Replacement

Proven Cabinet Painters

Most cabinet painting jobs fail not because of the paint, but because of how it is applied. Brushing and rolling cabinets on-site produces visible brush marks, uneven coverage, and a finish that chips and peels faster than factory-finished cabinets. That is not a paint problem. It is a process problem.

All American Trade Work solves it with an off-site spray booth at our Medford shop. Doors and drawers are removed, labeled, transported, and sprayed in a controlled environment where dust, humidity, and temperature are managed throughout the curing process. The result is a smooth, hard finish with no brush marks, no lap lines, and no corners cut.

We use Sherwin-Williams Emerald Trim Urethane and Gallery products on every cabinet project.

Cabinet painting delivers a result that is visually comparable to new cabinet installation at significantly lower cost. Full replacement involves cabinet manufacturing lead times, demo, disposal, and installation labor on top of material costs.

All American Trade Work cabinet painting keeps your existing cabinet structure, eliminates those additional costs, and completes the transformation in a fraction of the time a replacement project requires.

If your cabinet boxes are in good structural condition, there is no reason to replace them. All American Trade Work evaluates the condition of your boxes, doors, and drawers during the free estimate.

When the bones are solid, painting is the more practical choice. You retain the layout, the hardware positions, and the storage configuration you have already built your kitchen routine around.

Cabinet color is one of the most visible design decisions in a home. All American Trade Work offers free color consultations as part of the estimate process. We bring samples, review how your countertops, flooring, and lighting interact with different tones, and help you select a color you will still be confident in three years from now.

Sherwin-Williams offers an extensive color library, and we can match most color targets if you already have something specific in mind.

Full cabinet replacement takes your kitchen out of commission for weeks. The All American Trade Work cabinet process is structured to keep your kitchen functional throughout most of the project. Doors and drawers are transported to the shop, but the boxes remain on-site.

You retain access to your kitchen during the multi-day process, and the timeline is communicated clearly in your written proposal before work begins.

Updated cabinets are consistently cited by real estate professionals as one of the most impactful visual upgrades before a home sale. Fresh cabinet finishes make kitchens photograph better, feel newer, and attract more buyer attention.

All American Trade Work uses Sherwin-Williams Emerald products engineered for durability, meaning the finish you invest in holds up through years of daily kitchen use before it ever needs to be refreshed.

A Multi-Day Process Built for a Result That Lasts

Our Cabinet Painting Process

The detail that separates a cabinet painting job that holds for years from one that starts chipping within months is process discipline. Here is exactly how All American Trade Work approaches every cabinet project.

Day 1: Your crew arrives on-site, removes every door and drawer, labels each one for exact reinstallation, and transports them to our spray booth at the Medford shop. On-site, the cabinet boxes are cleaned with a degreaser and lightly sanded to prepare for priming.

Day 2: At the shop, door and drawer fronts are primed on both sides in the spray booth. While those are curing, the on-site crew masks off the surrounding area and cleans the cabinet boxes. Boxes are lightly sanded.

Day 3: Cabinet boxes are primed on-site. At the shop, primed doors and drawers receive their first finish coat.

Continuing Days: The process continues in parallel: boxes are finish-coated on-site while doors and drawers receive additional finish coats at the shop. Each coat is allowed to fully cure before the next is applied.

Final Day: Doors and drawers are returned, reinstalled per their original labels, and adjusted for alignment. Hardware is reinstalled. A final inspection is completed with you before the project is signed off.

Every step uses Sherwin-Williams Emerald Trim Urethane and Gallery products applied in a controlled environment.

When Painting Is the Right Solution and When It Is Not

Cabinet Refinishing & Resurfacing

Cabinet refinishing refers to stripping, repairing, and recoating existing cabinet surfaces to restore or change their finish. All American Trade Work handles refinishing through the same spray booth process used for full cabinet painting projects.

Cabinet resurfacing involves replacing the door and drawer fronts while keeping the existing boxes. All American Trade Work does not perform resurfacing in-house, but we have worked with many cabinet shops across The Rogue Valley and can connect you with a trusted builder to have new doors and drawers built to fit your existing boxes.

Once the new fronts are ready, we handle the painting through our off-site spray booth process so the finished result is consistent across every surface. If your doors are damaged beyond refinishing, we will tell you that honestly during the estimate and help you understand what the full path forward looks like before you commit to anything.

What All American Trade Work does offer is a thorough assessment during your estimate. We evaluate the condition of every surface, identify any prep requirements that would affect the final finish, and give you a clear answer on whether cabinet painting is the right solution for your kitchen before you commit to anything.

Our Cabinet Painting FAQs

Ask any cabinet painter you consider to describe their process in detail, specifically whether they spray off-site or brush and roll on-site, and what products they use. On-site brushing and rolling produce a noticeably different finish than off-site spray booth application.

Cabinet painting costs vary based on the number of doors and drawers, the condition of the existing finish, and whether any repairs are needed before painting begins. The All American Trade Work cabinet process uses an off-site spray booth and commercial-grade Sherwin-Williams products, which produce a more durable result than brush-and-roll methods at a comparable cost.

For context, a full cabinet replacement typically runs between $20,000 and $50,000 or more. All American Trade Work provides a free, written estimate with itemized pricing after an on-site walkthrough. Call 541-697-3141 to schedule yours.

Updated kitchen cabinets are one of the most frequently recommended pre-sale improvements by real estate professionals. Fresh, neutral cabinet finishes make kitchens photograph better for listings and create a stronger first impression during showings.

All American Trade Work uses Sherwin-Williams Emerald Trim Urethane, an industrial-grade product engineered for durability in high-use environments. The finish is designed to hold up to daily kitchen contact and cleaning for years, not months.

Cabinet painting is an interior service and is available year-round in The Rogue Valley. Because the All American Trade Work process removes your doors and drawers for off-site spraying, you will have limited cabinet door access during the multi-day process.

Most homeowners prefer to schedule cabinet painting during a period when they can manage the kitchen with box access only for several days. Spring and fall tend to be popular scheduling windows. Call 541-697-3141 to check current availability.

All American Trade Work uses Sherwin-Williams Emerald Trim Urethane and Gallery products for all cabinet painting projects. Emerald Trim Urethane is the same product specified by custom cabinet manufacturers for its hardness, washability, and long-term finish retention.

It resists chipping, scuffing, and the humidity that kitchen surfaces are regularly exposed to. Both products are applied in our off-site spray booth under controlled conditions, not brushed or rolled on-site.

Yes. All American Trade Work handles full interior residential painting including walls, ceilings, trim, doors, drywall repair, wallpaper removal, popcorn ceiling removal, and indoor staining.

Interior painting uses Sherwin-Williams Duration Interior for walls and ceilings and Emerald Trim Urethane for trim and doors. Cabinet painting is a separate scope with its own process and timeline. Visit our Interior Painting page or call 541-697-3141 for more information.

No, and this distinction matters. Walls tolerate brush and roller application with standard latex paint. Cabinets are a high-contact surface that absorbs grease, steam, and daily handling. Paint applied with a brush or roller on cabinets tends to show application marks, chips faster, and does not clean as well as a sprayed, factory-grade finish.

All American Trade Work uses an off-site spray booth process specifically because it produces a meaningfully different result than on-site application methods.

Yes. All American Trade Work handles both interior and exterior commercial painting across The Rogue Valley for property managers, building owners, and facilities managers.

Commercial projects include a written proposal, a dedicated project manager, and a work schedule built around your operations.
